Sunday November 22rd at noon all British
cars are invited to assemble on the pastures of Jim and Camille
Flankey’s horse farm for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and chili
tasting. The cars will be judged and the chili will be judged. All
in all, it will be another fun event as has all Flankey shows in the
past. Note: There are usually fifty Carson the field.
The Classic MG Club will provide
beverages and cornbread. If you desire to enter the chili
competition, please RSVP to Camille on her Cell at 407 247 2447 or
Cflankey@embarqmail.com.
You will be added to the official ballot. Then bring your tried and
true recipe for all to taste and try to choose a winner. Some like
it hot, some like it hotter & some......well, we do have a new fire
hydrant just installed at the end of our driveway courtesy of Orange
County. There will be a few prizes for the Chili Cook-off winners,
probably 1st, 2nd & 3rd--Hot, Hotter & Hottest! Or Flavorful,
Flavorfuller, and Flavorfullest! So, all you chili cooks out there,
bring us your best!
We request that you bring an appetizer,
side dish, or dessert for the table. An RSVP on what you will bring
will be appreciated. Will Bowden has volunteered to bring and steam
a sack of oysters for your enjoyment. This seems to have become a
tradition at the Show.
